"God loved us by becoming us." - Richard Rohr
The Christmas season is time when the juxtaposition of the sacred and secular feels sometimes blatantly opposed, and sometimes quite blurred. The word “sacred” points to something dedicated as “holy” and “set apart.” This year, you are invited to a spiritual journey of seeing ALL things pregnant with the Holy. What could your experience of the Advent and Christmas season be like if we lived it imagining that everything is reflecting the sacred?
This fully-scripted Advent/Christmas follows the scriptures for RCL Year A and series draws inspiration from Richard Rohr's Universal Christ and the companion devotional book, Every Thing Is Sacred: 40 Practices and Reflections on the Universal Christ compiled by Patrick Boland. Includes worship scripts for Advent 1-4, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day - which is on a Sunday in 2022! - and the Sunday after Christmas (and supporting materials for all the worship arts).
After purchasing, you will immediately get an e-mail receipt and "thank you for purchasing" e-mail with a VERY important link and instructions to get access to the materials. If you do not see that e-mail, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK OR SPAM FOLDERS (and if you don't see it there, contact us at [email protected]).
There's more where this came from!
